If Current Of 10a Flows 4 Minutes, Find The Quantity Of Electricity Transferred

If current of 10A flows 4 minutes, find the quantity of electricity transferred

Hello!

If current of 10A flows 4 minutes, find the quantity of electricity transferred

We have the following data:

i (current intensity) = 10 A (or 10 C/s)

Q (Amount of charge electrified) = ? (in Coulomb)

Δt (time interval) = 4 minutes = 4 * (60s) => t = 240 seconds

Formula:

i = \dfrac{Q}{\Delta{T}} \to \boxed{Q = i * \Delta{T}}

Solving:

Q = i * \Delta{T}

Q = 10\:\frac{C}{\diagup\!\!\!\!\!s} * 2400\:\diagup\!\!\!\!\!s

\boxed{\boxed{Q = 24000\:C}}\end{array}}\qquad\checkmark

Answer:

The quantity of electricity transferred is 24000 Coulom
